In this series, I explore emotional experience through colour, using it as a trigger rather than a narrative. The work invites the viewer to interpret their own response. While we often think of emotions as singular, our lived experience is usually more complex, a layering of multiple feelings experienced simultaneously.
Emotional responses vary from person to person and can manifest physically, through heightened awareness, changes in breath or heart rate, and shifts in energy. They are often accompanied by behavioural responses as well: in expression, body language, verbal reaction and physical movement.
What is your emotional response to these colours, and how does it shape the way you feel and behave?
